I had no idea 2.0 came out ( and it apparently a long ago)

 

Not sure if this stamina is what this game needs right now. I really hoped monster zone would had been implemented, but I guess an update is an update.

 

However, I really like to see this auto-save being fixed.

 

 

I am not sure if you Stardock folks know why auto-save is broken..... but let me explain; auto-save feature tries to save a game when the turn-calculation is still going on.

 

Current Elemental Auto-Save:

Player hits 'turn' -> game then calculates AI movement and battles WHILE at the same time tries to save the game -> results in partial and/or corrupted save.

 

How it should be:

Player hits 'turn' -> game calculates AI, battles, etc -> after all is over, before it gives the control back to player, game tries to save the game -> game saved right before player action.

 

All it needs is a proper delay and trigger for auto-save.
